At the Michael and Karen Carsley Foundation, we are committed to improving the quality of life for individuals and communities in Michigan and beyond. Our focus areas include youth, health, research, and education. Below are some of the organizations and initiatives we have proudly supported:

Youth Empowerment

• The Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit
  • Description: The Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit is dedicated to providing support and resources to underprivileged children in our community.
  • Impact: Our support has helped The Goodfellows provide clothing, school supplies, and other essential items to children in need. 

• Friends of Foster Kids
  • Description: Friends of Foster Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to children in foster care. Their mission is to ensure that every child in foster care feels valued, supported, and loved. They offer various programs and services, including providing essential items, educational support, and recreational activities to foster children.
  • Impact: Our donations have enabled Friends of Foster Kids to expand their programs and provide much-needed support to foster children. This includes supplying clothing, school supplies, and other essential items, as well as offering educational and recreational opportunities. Our support helps foster children feel valued and gives them hope for a brighter future.

Health, Research and Innovation Initiatives 

• St. Jude Children's Hospital
  • Description: St. Jude Children's Hospital is committed to advancing cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
  • Impact: Our contributions have supported life-saving research and treatment for children battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
